Community Giving

Mingus Mountain Community Service
At Mingus Mountain Law Group we believe community giving is the best way to show our appreciation to the community that has blessed us with opportunity for well over a decade.

Charitable Giving: Mingus Mountain Law Group gives 4% of every contingent fee collected to one of five area non-profit organizations designed to make our community better. The client gets to pick which organization shall receive the gift, making it a gift from the client as well.

Presently, we collectively give to the following:

  1. Stepping Stones
  2. Habitat for Humanity
  3. Northern Arizona Dream Center
  4. Teen Challenge
  5. Arizona Community Foundation.

Pro Bono Giving: Every year Mark donates an afternoon to participate in Law Day through the Community Legal Services. Law Day provides free legal guidance for hundreds of Yavapai County residents. For over ten years, Mark has also given dozens of hours annually to a local domestic violence legal advocacy.

Scholarship Giving: Mingus Mountain Law Group strongly believes in the power of education. Paying for college and law school himself, Mark understands the importance of scholarship funding for college students, as well as the encouragement a scholarship can provide. That is why every year Mingus Mountain Law Group offers a $1,250.00 scholarship to a high school senior interested in the law.

To become a successful candidate, the senior must graduate from the following schools:

  • Prescott High School
  • Bradshaw Mountain High School
  • Trinity Christian
  • Tri-City Prep
  • Chino Valley High School
  • Mayer High School

Candidate should complete an application found here. Generally, the applications are due on or before March 31 each year.
